Chinese Wikipedia is the Chinese-language edition of Wikipedia, the open, collaborative online encyclopedia. Written in traditional Chinese, it is a branch of the Wikipedia project maintained by the nonprofit Wikimedia Foundation. Launched on October 24, 2002, Chinese Wikipedia had 2,533,212 articles in traditional Chinese as of May 2023. Most contributors are from Taiwan and Hong Kong.
