The Taiwan Cultural Memory Bank, maintained by the National Museum of History, focuses on preserving cultural narratives from everyday life. It includes a vast collection of historical and cultural materials, ranging from the craftsmanship of national treasure-level artisans and manuscripts of literary giants to the daily lives of common people in military dependents' villages, fishing communities, and indigenous tribes. It is Taiwan’s most extensive repository of historical and cultural resources, designed to be easily accessible and user-friendly—a "living archive" of Taiwan’s collective memory.
